February 2, 2002, Groundhog
Day, was a beautiful day for a parade.
The Hillsborough Community College Gasparilla Float was impressive and we
had 19 countries represented by 27 International Students in their traditional
costumes and an all American student in western garb. The
parade proceeded without incident and all participants thoroughly enjoyed
the day.
The American flag was
on the front of the float and flags of the countries represented were mounted
on the back.
